The use of the IIUI ODL web platform and all its resources and contents are subject to the following terms and conditions. You agree to be legally bound to the following Terms of Use / Privacy Policy, whenever you are using the IIUI ODL web platform, irrespective of the fact that you are a registered IIUI user or not.
The IIUI ODL web platform is operated by the International Islamic University, in support of its mission to educate and disseminate knowledge and information. As have been used in these Terms of Use / Privacy Policy, the terms “we,” “us” and “our” refer to IIUI.
The IIUI ODL web platform and all the material available here including the audio and video content, reference material, lecture notes and presentations, and any other kind of teaching and learning material available on the IIUI ODL (collectively, known as the “Content”) are protected by copyright. We own the copyright in the IIUI ODL and the Content. You are only allowed to use the content available on the IIUI ODL solely for the purposes specified in these Terms of Use / Privacy Policy.
You are only allowed noncommercial and nonprofit uses of the IIUI ODL web platform. All the course audios and videos uploaded are for your own personal use and guidance. You, in any case, are not allowed to redistribute, transfer, share or upload any of the Content available on the IIUI ODL. You are not allowed to update or modify any of the course audio / video material or any other Content available, by adding any advertisement or other material or by interfering with the viewing of any Content. You, hereby, agree to abide by all copyright and other notices on all the Content available on the IIUI ODL.
We hold the right to change any information or content that is posted on the IIUI ODL without any prior notice. In addition, these Terms of Use / Privacy Policy are subject to change at any time without prior notice. All the changes made by us will be posted on the web platform. Any kind of activity that occurs by your account on IIUI ODL Web Platform is solely and wholly your responsibility. It is your responsibility to keep your account password secure and not to share it with any one in any case. In case of lost passwords or any other kind of unauthorized access to your account, you must intimate us immediately. You are not allowed to share your account to be used by others neither will you be allowed to use any other person’s account. IIUI ODL holds the right to terminate any account in case of unintended and un-allowed activity. All the links to other web sites and material available on the IIUI ODL web platform are merely provided as a reference for your expediency. We do not approve of or endorse the content of linked third-party sites, and you agree that we will have no responsibility or liability in connection with your use of any linked third-party sites.
Only registered account holders are allowed to take part in online discussion forums and to submit or post comments, as and where allowed, or other material (in terms of solved assignments and tasks), on the IIUI ODL. In this case only you are solely and wholly responsible for any of the content you have posted or submitted to the IIUI ODL.
